1. Enhance platforms for youth voices to share their research by providing them with the resources, tools, and support in the form of mentors, workshops, and access to universities, community colleges, collectives, and community based organizations.
2.Promote connectivity between elementary school, middle school, high school, community college, and university students who share an interest in social justice. 3.Create “Third Spaces” or spaces outside of home and school by connecting participants with opportunities to collaborate with experts outside of academia. This will enhance research and learning by providing “real-world” and applied knowledge in their fields of interest. Bringing the learning to sites outside of academia also allows for youth to expand their networks and works toward instilling community engagement and belonging.
4.Assist organizations and institutions in building capacity to share, collaborate, and participate in the lives of area youth.
